This time last year we were hustling through my son's Eagle Scout Project, building an outdoor stage and picnic tables, at our church. It's been a blessing to see this area used for outdoor worship services, gatherings for youth group activities, birthday parties, church celebrations, and community group lunches. It's been a tangible way for my son to see the harvest of his labors.
Many times, though, we don't get to see the outcome of seeds we've sown. We don't know how the kind words during a brief encounter at the grocery checkout have impacted someone else. We aren't aware of how a simple gesture of kindness has helped another during a difficult time. Be encouraged, friend, that the Lord is cultivating each of these in His own way and bearing fruit in His timeline for the benefit of His kingdom.
