While Breck's Alta Verde project didn't make the study's list, the report explores the air quality and health, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint benefits of net-zero energy homes. Governor to sign I-70 Carpool Bill Into Law

 

On April 19, 2021 Governor Polis will sign the Carpool Bill into law, allowing for applications like Ride Gondola and Treadshare to offer recreational skiers opportunities to cost-share rides to the mountains. This bill distinguishes carpool apps from rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft, allowing a driver to recoup costs of travel if rides are shared. The goal is to help ease congestion in the mountain corridors.

Annual Report to be Released May 11, 2021

 

The SustainableBreck Annual Report will be presented to the Breckenridge Town Council Tuesday, May 11 at their regular meeting. This annual project reflects on the previous year's sustainability efforts and provides a snapshot of progress towards established benchmarks and targets.
