March 3, 2021 Anniversary It's the anniversary that no one wants to celebrate. We flip back in our calendars to this time last year to search for that last moment of unabashed human freedom or that amusing thing we were so naively concerned about before we finally understood that the world was turning into a deadly, dark psychology experiment. But there's little enjoyable about that exercise and we quickly push it aside to imagine better days ahead. That's exactly the stance we've seen schools taking since December. They'll collect the patches of silver linings from the past year, act on the vulnerabilities that the pandemic exposed (most of them well known all along), and step into preparations for next year optimistic for a year together, firsthand. |
