G' Day Chaps

Its been a long time between dispatches, so I thought I will send through a quick email into your inbox to let you know how things are going in the store with exciting news from the frontline.

In operating a book business was always a little daunting challenge and involved a lot of reading for myself to educate myself on the best model of business. This model of business is constantly changing as the commerce model adapts to an ever changing world of technology. What hasn't change is the value that books offer in providing a connection to the past, present and lessons for the future.

Currently Tally Ho Chap has been as amazing experience and the business lessons I have learnt whilst establishing a brand and growing a Military Book Store have led me to this position I find myself in. I now am excited to launch into a new chapter with two expansions to the Business which I will expand on, further in this email.

Keeping this succinct, here at Tally Ho Chap, the mission is the same, in providing a connection to Military History where we offer an array of collectible items for sale online and in our physical store. We also enjoy sharing war stories from around the world on our social media platforms. In sharing these war stories helps create a community, where all Chaps are welcome to explore aspects of struggle and conflict. These aspects are fascinating, but most important are the lessons learnt about overcoming and resolving differences, as History continues to teach us time and time again.

Brisbane Book Auctions

I am very excited to launch a small venture into the book auctioneering world. Starting off small is our first auction of 10 random books to whet the appetite and test the system out. The intention is to expand and offer a more eclectic array of books you will not find in your average book store.

We welcome your feedback on how we can make the experience awesome and accessible for you. Later on down the line the business will take external consignments. This auction is now live on the site with a close time of 1 June. I promise you the next auction will be a lot quicker.

Honestly Good Books

As simple as one can get in bookselling. Honestly Good Books, as the name suggests, offers books to everyone as a democratic opportunity where the customer decides on a fair honest price and make a donation in exchange. Based next to Tally Ho Chap, its a perfect stopover after visiting our main shop on a Saturday Morning.

Once again the social media has just been set up with store 'shelfies' every weekend to provide a glimpse on what is on offer. Follow the Honestly Good Book Journey here

My apology for the lack news from Tally Ho Chap, just know there are hard minions at work in processing our ever growing expansion of stock for sale.

The store is be open Saturday from 10am to 2pm, but beware you are very likely to need a bit of time to uncover the many treasures that we have in the store.
