Your Daily Plan
Feeling overwhelmed with your growing to-do lists? Need a schedule but don't know where to start? That's why I've created "Your Daily Plan" Day Planner. My hope is it will help you tackle your day with confidence and ease.
Here's how to use Your Daily Plan:
1: End With Order (EWO)
You actually make your daily plan the day before. So block out 15-30 minutes at the end of your day to get organized and to make your plan for tomorrow.
2: Time Blocking
Start by blocking out your scheduled meetings or events.
3: List Your Top 3 Priorities
What are your top-three highest-level, most important tasks you need to accomplish tomorrow? List them.
4: Block Out Time For Top 3 Priorities, Ideally Before Noon
Your chances of getting derailed are much higher at 2:00 or 3:00 pm than they are at 9:00 or 10:00 am. Therefore, "Earn your salary by noon," and focus on your important work first as much as you can—and eat that frog first!
4: Think Through Your Snack-Size To-Do's
What can you get done in 10 minutes or between meetings? List them so you can cross them off later.
5: Remember to Take Mindful Moments
Step away from your desk, close your email to focus, or practice the "12-minute Rule," these small habits remind you to be intentional with your time.
What do you think? Sound doable? I hope you're nodding yes and are going to click on the download button below! Because I can tell you firsthand that these steps help me on the daily.
