LET'S TALK LOVE & APPRECIATION

I've Got That Loving Feeling

The above picture is a love note a client left for me to find inside my notebook after a coaching session. It not only warmed my heart but reminded me of how important it is to say I love you.

Therefore, during this LOVE-focused month, I want to share my utmost gratitude and feelings of love with you all! It’s a beautiful thing when you know you are doing what you were meant to do in this world and find that meaning in your job. I can say with all certainty that the work I do, the people I meet, the relationships I build, and the problems I help solve are such a joy and honor to be a part of.

If you have worked with me, I say thank you so much! If you are curious how working with me would go for you, a team member, or your business, I encourage you to reach out and let’s have a quick chat. Whatever you’re doing in your life, in your relationships, in your teams and in your families—do it with LOVE! I send you all oodles of love this and every month!

Thank you for being in my world,

Sara

What I'm Reading

Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art

There are a few books that come my way that I consider “game-changers”. This is one of them! Did you know, breathing through our noses, not our mouths, can transform our health for the better? That is what this book is about.

I was fascinated to learn about how mouth breathing can be damaging and how snoring and sleep apnea can improve once we start more nostril breathing. A great reminder of how simple habits can be life-changing.

Three Things I'm Loving

  1. Wellness Wednesdays where I intentionally take a portion of Wednesday for my mental health. It's time for me to get caught up on life stuff, to do self-care, to putter—to do all things I love, but don't always take time for.
  2. When my stone fruit trees start blossoming—enough said.
  3. I have given up high impact, intensive exercise for a bit and traded it out for something new, different and often uncomfortable… pilates!

Your Daily Plan

Feeling overwhelmed with your growing to-do lists? Need a schedule but don't know where to start? That's why I've created "Your Daily Plan" Day Planner. My hope is it will help you tackle your day with confidence and ease.

Here's how to use Your Daily Plan:

1: End With Order (EWO)

You actually make your daily plan the day before. So block out 15-30 minutes at the end of your day to get organized and to make your plan for tomorrow.

2: Time Blocking

Start by blocking out your scheduled meetings or events.

3: List Your Top 3 Priorities

What are your top-three highest-level, most important tasks you need to accomplish tomorrow? List them.

4: Block Out Time For Top 3 Priorities, Ideally Before Noon

Your chances of getting derailed are much higher at 2:00 or 3:00 pm than they are at 9:00 or 10:00 am. Therefore, "Earn your salary by noon," and focus on your important work first as much as you can—and eat that frog first!

4: Think Through Your Snack-Size To-Do's

What can you get done in 10 minutes or between meetings? List them so you can cross them off later.

5: Remember to Take Mindful Moments

Step away from your desk, close your email to focus, or practice the "12-minute Rule," these small habits remind you to be intentional with your time.

What do you think? Sound doable? I hope you're nodding yes and are going to click on the download button below! Because I can tell you firsthand that these steps help me on the daily.
