Greetings clients, friends and family,

 

The world is changing and so are we!

 

The pandemic motivates us to connect and share some love. Life is precious and we do not know what tomorrow brings. So today we chose a joyful connection with you.

 

We’ve been out of touch for quite some time and we miss you. My brain injury recovery (car accident) and the move out of Atlanta and caring for family are part of the mammoth transition. Add the pandemic and we all feel the shifts and changes of life's unpredictability. 

 

We continue to adjust nicely to Slow Living, contemplating, gardening, cooking, discovering, long walks in the woods or the ocean, being mindful and reinventing ourselves. For those who do not know I now live between Winston-Salem, NC and Savannah, GA. The ocean and mountains call me hOMe to my inner peaceful place.

 

It feels good to know where we belong as we whether the storm of these unknowns. Connection matters! 

 

Part of my reinventing is found in this monthly Newsletter contribution. Dr. gloria wright* joins me with her diverse perspectives on Self-Care and Self-Improvement. We intend to stimulate minds and hearts. Combining psychology and awareness is our new hallmark, not an easy task, but we are finding our way and oh the laughs. Who knows,  live videos might be a good add to these Newsletter so that you may laugh with us?

The Need to Be Understood

Ponder how your thoughts become energy as they manifest into action. Look at how often clusters of people, even strangers with similar underlying patterns or challenges, show up that irritate you or, on the other end of the pendulum, comfort you. These occurrences put some light on how your flow of energy creates your life experiences. Take energy to the next level by being intentional about being seen and seeing others more clearly. Dale Carnnegie encourages you to seek to understand before you seek to be understood.

Be mindful that perceptions and delivery are infused with energy.

February 27 is a Virgo Full Moon that supports you in making a big change. 

 

Contemplation: How can you create more balance between the pull you feel between your personal and professional life? What self-care tools support you through making difficult choices? What do you want to free yourself from under this full moon? What burdens are you ready to release?

 

Tips: Intentionally breathe and pause before making a decision. Grounding practices can help your heart and mind work together to find solutions. Grounding practices include walking in the woods, alternate nose breathwork and breaks (walking away to clear your thoughts and feeling can change your enegy).

Lutopia purchased two acres of land in the Triad area of North Carolina. We are well on our way to building our first Lutopia minded community.

 

Be on the lookout next month for updates on the ways we are working with the land and cultivating community. Until then, offer your suggestions on energy-efficient low-cost living.

 

Volunteers are needed to help clear the land and contemplate energy-efficient low-cost living around the bonfire as we clear... Join us any sunny day till March 15th.
