PsyDrive was established by Dr Lisa Dorn to deliver accredited training for road safety professionals, assessments, research and evidence-based interventions for improved road user behaviour.

Human Factors and Road Risk Management accredited programme

 

So far this year, we have welcomed many delegates from a range of professional backgrounds to our 2-day online Human Factors and Road Risk Management accredited programme. The course ran in January, February and twice in March.

 

A bespoke programme was delivered to Sysco, the global leader in selling, marketing, and distributing food and non-food products to restaurants, healthcare, and educational facilities. Delegates from operations, training and transport management attended and Jeremy Smith, Head of Operations at Sysco said: -

 

‘Great course, insightful look into the behaviour and actions of people in relation to road safety. Worth investing some time and participating’.

PsyDrive launches a new driver profiling platform!

We are excited to launch our new platform for profiling work related risk. In collaboration with major UK fleets, PsyDrive has developed Driving Insights to assess organisational safety culture and its influence on fleet safety. For more information contact@drivinginsights.co.uk

New Research

Does playing music whilst driving help or hinder driving performance?

PsyDrive in collaboration with QBE and Liverpool University is investigating how playing music can affect driving performance. Two major fleets are taking part in the study. The results will be on our website as soon as they become available. 

Dorset Police Driver Diversion Course Evaluation

In collaboration with Dorset Road Safety Education, Dr Lisa Dorn has been the academic lead on designing several driver and rider diversion courses for Dorset Police since 2018. The Driver Awareness Scheme is regularly evaluated to ensure it achieves its aims to create safer, more responsible, and considerate road users in Dorset.
