Our annual “Letters from Santa” is a fun opportunity to support JWL’s initiatives while spreading cheer this holiday season. JWL has teamed up with Santa again this year to gift your loved ones with a memorable keepsake this Christmas. With each $5.00 donation, Santa will send a personalized letter from the North Pole to his biggest fans! This event is not limited to just your own loved ones. On our website, you will see an option for foster children and senior citizens as well. For many, the holidays can be a difficult time, especially if they don't have loved ones to celebrate it with. So this is a wonderful opportunity to share joy with those who may need a little extra love during this time of year. |

The best part of all is that JWL's brightening spirit can be shared far and wide! Santa and his special helpers will be mailing letters across the USA. Remember, Santa and his elves are extremely busy and need plenty of time to prepare these very important letters. If you’d like to add someone to his mailing list, please visit our website to submit their information before the deadline—December 6th at 11:59 pm. All letters will leave the North Pole by December 11th! Purchase JWL Pick 3 raffle tickets online or via a Junior Women's League of Smithfield Member until November 27. Your $20 ticket purchase gives you 31 chances to win cash prizes throughout the month of December. Raffle drawings will be held each night from December 1-31, 2021, at 11:15 PM on WRAL LIVE. The winning ticket will be the first drawn evening Pick 3 and must be in exact sequential order. JWL Pick 3 Raffle tickets will make great holiday gifts for teachers, coaches, co-workers, family and friends. |

Raffle proceeds will help fund JWL's Blessing Boxes, Student Scholarships, women's leadership development programs, and ongoing league initiatives. Ticket numbers can be drawn more than once so JWL Pick 3 raffle tickets should be kept for the month of December. Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email with prizes mailed out weekly. The Junior Women's League of Smithfield is accepting new members for the second semester of the 2021-2022 league year through December 15, 2021. Membership is open to all women (from Johnston County and beyond) ages 22 and older who possess an interest in voluntarism and a commitment to community service. We will offer one full membership scholarship for anyone who is committed to the work of JWL, but for whom the membership fee may present a hardship. The scholarship application is available here and the deadline to apply is November 30, 2021. | | |
