Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to the February edition of ‘Heart News’. I hope the half term has been a good break for students and their families and girls have returned to school ready to work hard in the lead up to Easter, which is less than five weeks away!
I wanted to remind you of an excellent resource we have in The Wellbeing Hub. This online web app is designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of students and is accessible to all our students and staff, as well as parents. It gives parents, carers and staff access to a wealth of training and resources to help create a healthy environment at home and in school. To give you a flavour, the hub has monthly themes, parent courses, webinars, lots of resources on many different topics, regular Q&A and Careers information.
We want to work collaboratively and take steps to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in all our young people. A lot of our parents are already signed up and are browsing the many available resources to support their daughters. If you haven't yet set up your log in for the Wellbeing Hub, please do so by clicking on the following link which will take you to the sign-up page where you will be asked to create a password:

March is almost upon us and for our Year 11 and Year 13 students, this means revision for public examinations should be well underway. As a school, we finish teaching the content for all exam courses in March so that the remaining time can be spent working with teachers on a programme of structured revision in lessons, supported further by their own revision at home. This is a tried and tested model which ensures we get the best outcomes for all every academic year.
Yours,
Mrs Howell
Headteacher
