My sincerest apologies for NOT having your pool open for Memorial Day Weekend. Phil and our maintenance team worked tirelessly to get the sediment cleared up from the bottom and the water clear. I met with the owner of the pool company yesterday (Wednesday) who told me the filters were completely inoperable but they were instructed to just put them together and turn them on as-is. We have a series of four Diatomaceous Earth Vertical Grid filters. The grids are torn, in essence allowing unfiltered water to pass through them with no filtration. What's worse, is the filter media (a fine powder) passes right through and back into the pool, adding to the sediment. |

The picture above is just one grid in one of the six filters in the series. A large tear in the filter grid can be seen. |

BOTTOM LINE... The owner of our pool contracting company, Blue Lagoon Pools, was terrific! I was able to negotiate expedited filter grids for us and they were miraculously delivered today (Thursday). I left Phil a couple of hours ago where he was finishing the install, saving us some labor costs. They're operating and will allow the pool to be vacuumed, giving a few days for the chemicals to take effect so the test results will allow us to pass the Health Department Standards. Therefore... WE'LL SHOOT FOR OPENING THE POOL TUESDAY!!! |

Along with Anne in the office, Phil in Maintenance, Kevin our Maintenance Assistant, and all our Pool Attendants, we wish everyone the very best for a safe and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! |
