Happy mid-week!!
Anyone else need a boost already? Working daily through a pandemic, social distancing from friends and loved ones, teletherapy, worrying about back to school as a school SLP and for your own kids, all while trying to remain healthy and finding Clorox wipes! (If anyone finds any, I'd be forever grateful for your help!)
We are all working through tough times right now, so here's a midweek bit of encouragement (for you and I both!):
- Do the best you can with what you have.
- Don't overthink it. Procedures look different due to safety precautions, but meaningful therapy does not require extravagant activities.
- Don't over do it. Know your limits and monitor your physical and mental health.
- Feed your body with good fuel- fruit, veggies and vitamin supplements to build your immune system, energy and mood.
- Find the positive. It won't necessarily jump out at you, so you may have to look....sometimes really hard, but there is always something. Use this to balance out the tough times.
