President's Message

Hello Kern River Valley,

Sequoia Mountain Apothecary

I would like to start by welcoming our newest member to our family, Sequoia Mountain Apothecary in Lake Isabella. Stop by their store, check out the inventory and thank them for being a part of our community.

On Monday Sept 9, 2024 at 5:30pm we will be co-hosting a ribbon cutting event for Kern River Floors in Lake Isabella. If you can make it out, stop in and join the event as we congratulate Mr. Moffat on his new location to service the KRV.

On Saturday September 14 the Hospital Foundation will be hosting its annual Crab Fest on the front lawn of our Healthcare District, come out and enjoy an amazing meal while supporting the foundation.

We want to thank ALL of the volunteers who went above and beyond this past Labor Day getting the flags out on the blvd. After one of the teams did a no show for placement, Mr. Fred Roach and his junior chamber members took it upon themselves to complete that section to ensure our residents seen the pride we have in the KRV for the Red White and Blue.

As we head into September, just remember we are almost past the heat. I know Mother Nature was teasing us with a week of amazing weather but she is just reminding us she still has a few hot days left for us in 2024.

Our general membership meeting next Wednesday Sept 11 at the Eagles in Mnt. Mesa will be hosting to guest speakers, Kern River Conservancy and our Keepers of The Kern; they are alive and kicking so please come out and show the support for what they do. Why not enjoy a great lunch at the same time?

Please remember to utilize your chamber, we are here for you.

Fred Clark,

President

Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce
