Together Outdoors
The goal of this grant is to fund outdoor inclusion initiatives that are by the community and for the community. In this pilot round of grants, Together Outdoors will make one-time awards of $5,000 to $10,000. Support will go to programs concerning inclusion in the outdoors that benefit communities of color, LGBTIA+ individuals, underserved regions, people with disabilities, and/or other intersecting minority groups. COVID-19 ARPA PA Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program
Grants are available to community anchor institutions and units of local government to fund community projects that construct, acquire, or improve facilities (shared office space, recreation centers, schools, libraries, etc.). Applicants must possess the technical, managerial, and financial expertise to carry out the project.The minimum grant amount for any Facilities project is $250,000. The maximum grant amount shall not exceed $2 million. To be eligible for reimbursement, project costs must be incurred within the timeframe established by the grant agreement. PA Neighborhood Assistance Program
Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) provides substantial support for neighborhoods and communities across Pennsylvania. The program helps nonprofits (501(c)(3)) complete vital community projects by providing tax credits to businesses that provide contributions to those projects. In this way, NAP encourages and strengthens partnership between the private, nonprofit, and public sectors and helps put communities on the right track to self-sufficiency. 21st Century Community Learning Centers
This program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local academic standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
