Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser We are planning an interactive, multi-day, multi-media Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser that will happen in the spring! This event will bring together the public, our partners and local businesses. We are putting together a committee to help brainstorm, sell sponsorships and solicit donations to be used as prizes. Kent County and South County Regional Prevention Coalitions are offering The Incredible Years Parenting Group for parents of 6–8-year-olds. This group will begin in January 2024. The program is FREE and all session materials and activities (books, games, crafts) will be provided. Throughout the session, families will receive gift cards for family meals (Grub Hub/Door Dash) and upon completion, all families will receive a family membership to the RI Children’s Museum. The goals of the program include strengthening parent-child interactions, building positive relationships, supporting positive parenting, promoting children’s social, emotional and academic successes and improving classroom management skills. |
