Taking Charge of Your Decided Heart:
“Why me?”
“It’s not worth it. Nothing will change.”
“People just continue dumping on me.”
Whew, we are exhausted even writing those statements above. We have all been there, but it is whether we choose to stay there that determines whether we are victims or heroes in life.
We have seen people who have endured more than any one person should be able to bare – abuse, poverty, kidnapping, burns, near-death experiences, assaults, illnesses – and yet they rise with joy and spread love to others.
We have also seen people who can hit one red light and be certain that the Universe is out to get them.
So, what is the secret to being a hero? Believe it or not – it is not as hard as you might think, but you might need someone to walk alongside you as you find your footing, and you know we are here for you.
Decide that you are the hero of your own life.
Know that obstacles will always come up, but trust that you will always find a way AND that includes asking for help.
Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and actively search for the gifts.
Make it a priority to surround yourself with good people, great literature, and positive media that will constantly fill you up the way you want to show up. It is hard to be resilient when you are running on empty.
In this month’s masterclass, we will be “fascinated anthropologists” who explore whether our lives are truly reflective of our priorities. Without judgment, we will make choices that help us show up as the shining heroes we are!
