How has CrossFit Kalamazoo changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness? I am addicted to the tough workouts, something I'd NEVER thought I'd say haha. I feel better after completing a workout and I love seeing my improvements now to when I first started. That feeling of bettering myself gives me confidence to push myself harder the next day.
If someone asked you “What is CrossFit Kalamazoo”, how would you answer? I would say CrossFit Kalamazoo is a place of hard work, where you can and will feel a sense of accomplishment if you are willing to put the effort in!
What advice would you give someone walking into CrossFit Kalamazoo for the first time? It is totally okay to feel scared or intimidated! That feeling comes to us when we step outside our comfort zones, but the only way to experience change in yourself is to do something that might make you a little uncomfortable. Fear can be paralyzing, but it only has as much control over you as you allow it to. CrossFit can be tough, but we have awesome coaches to help you understand the movements and great people to cheer you on during every workout!
What is your favorite CrossFit movement? Deadlifts! I love to deadlift haha.
What is your least favorite CrossFit movement? And why? Probably rope climbs, but that's only because it's one of the few movements I have trouble with, I'm working on them and determined to master the ropes!!! haha.

Name two things you consider yourself to be very good at? I like to think I'm good at making people laugh and I KNOW I'm a pro at complaining when I see wall balls, double unders or 400m run in a workout!

Because of CFK I have regained lost confidence in myself.
