“Publish Your Photography Book"

Three-day Workshop in Tokyo, Japan

October 12 - 14, 2024 hosted by the Tokyo Institute of Photography

Held in conjunction with the T3 Photo Festival

I am pleased to announce my first in-person Workshop in Tokyo, hosted by TIP/T3! Each day begins with my morning lecture (topics below), followed by one-on-one portfolio reviews for all participants (30 minutes each; others may observe).

Each day closes with a presentation by a member of the photobook making community in Tokyo. Publishing Industry Special Guests will be:

Yuri Suyama (Book Designer)

Shinohara Shiko (Paper & Book Binder)

 For my preparation, In advance of the Workshop I ask each participant to prepare a selection of images from their project for me as well as download and complete responses in the “Publish Your Photography Book” Workbook to the extent that you are considering and/or preparing your project for publication.

The 2024 T3 Photo Festival Tokyo runs from October 5 - October 27 and offers a photobook fair, exhibitions, and educational opportunities.
