Forest Bathing This wellness trend is based on the Japanese art of meditating in nature. It may have just hit stateside, but research has long touted green space's positive effects on blood pressure, mood and the immune system. Get in on the action by strolling along a nature trail, paying attention to the leaves crunching beneath your feet and observing woodland critters rustling in the trees. Live in a concrete jungle? A houseplant in every room will give you similar wellness-boosting effects. |
