Hello Friends! It’s finally FALL. I just love this season: crisp air, warm sun, gentle breeze, vibrant colors, falling leaves, corn stalks, scarecrows, apples, pumpkins, candles, warm cider, pumpkin beer… What do you love best about fall? |

Well, this has been a month! All That is Sacred won its first award: 2023 American Fiction Awards, winner of inspirational fiction. I am both excited and grateful that this passion project of mine is being recognized! Thanks to all of you who have read and reviewed my book. It has meant the world to me. Let’s keep it going. |

In September, I also got to listen to my whole audiobook. Truth be told, it’s the first audiobook I’ve listened to, but it won’t be the last. I think I’m hooked. As such, I’d like to give away 5 Audible copies. If you head over to my Instagram page, you can enter. Since you are already a subscriber to my newsletter, you’ll automatically get a bonus entry. |

October Events TODAY, October 1st, I’ll be at ReRead Books 2nd Annual Meet the Authors event from 11 AM - 3 PM. I’d love for you to stop by to say hello, have a book signed, buy a book or two or three. There will be 20 authors in attendance. This event holds a special place in my heart because, last year, it was my very first official author event and ReReads has been so supportive. I am very honored to be a featured guest at Artsplace of Cheshire’s 20th Annual Author Event on October 3rd with Cindy House, author of her memoir Mother Noise. All proceeds from the event benefit The Richard W. Conrad Memorial CPTA Art Scholarship, awarded each year to two graduating senior high school students. This is a win-win for me, getting to talk about my book & supporting two high school students as they pursue studies in the arts. On October 11th, I’ll be speaking, selling & signing books at Cheshire Library @ 6:30 PM. Is free. All you need to do is register on the CPL website @ https://cheshirelibrary.libcal.com/ Local friends, I hope to see you there & there will be a giveaway! On October 14th from 11 AM- 3 PM, I’ll be selling and signing books at another Meet the Authors event at Quarry Walk in Oxford, CT. It seems like a fun locale to wander around and meet some authors. |

I love being a member and guide for the Bookish Road Trip. What hooked me was the very first virtual book club I attended and I’ve been attending ever since. This month, I couldn’t be more excited to be the featured author talking about my novel–another full circle moment for me. I hope you’ll join us on Wed, Oct 25th @ 7:00 PM EST via zoom. The only caveat is that you’ll have to join the FB group to see it. Sign up using the link below. |

I wish you a wonderful fall season. And I'll leave you with a recipe that has been in my family for years of my favorite pumpkin bread. Happy eating! Until next time… |
