Torrance, CA — Friday, January 27, 2023: A Happy New Year from all of us at Kaiten Books! It’s been unusually cold over here in California, but we hope you’re enjoying getting settled into 2023 as we make our way through January. What better way to kick things off with some announcements to ring in the new year! First off, new digital releases! Look forward to catching up with Heihachi and the girls in Gacha Girls Corps Vol. 4 (manga) when it releases digital-first today, January 27th, 2023. We also have Loner Life in Another World Vol. 8 (manga) available for preorder and ready to release on February 14th, 2023 for a nice Valentine’s Day surprise! And while it does not have a fixed release date at the moment, we thought it would be a good idea to let you know to expect The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Vol. 6 some time in March 2023, so keep your eyes peeled for updates. We are also happy to announce we have new print releases on the horizon! It’s a Gacha Girls double feature with the physicals for Gacha Girls Corps Vol. 2 (manga) going on sale today, January 27th, 2023. In even more good news, the final volume of the VTuber Dad trilogy is finally coming to print as well! My Dad’s the Queen of All VTubers?! Vol. 3 is hitting store shelves on March 3rd, 2023. This marks our first completed series in print, so be sure to grab a copy to experience the finale of Takashi and his terminally online parents to celebrate the occasion! For those that had a hard time finding The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Vol. 1 over the holidays, we are happy to report the latest reprint has hit our distributor and should be available at all your favorite storefronts. They are still going fast as ever, so be sure to grab yours while you can! It has been a long time coming, but we are finally in the process of adding our ebooks to other digital platforms as well! We will be slowly rolling out our current catalog to services such as Kobo, iBooks, and more in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your platform of choice.
