More Screenings of "The Pavilion in the Water"

Our first documentary covering architecture of Central Florida takes us back in time. “Isabel Roberts, A Pavilion in the Water” premiered to great reviews. If you haven’t seen it yet, there are 3 more screenings scheduled. Our next is at Discover Downtown, on Thursday August the 4th at 8:15 am. You can register on our event page.

In September on Saturday, the 24th, at 2pm in the St Cloud Historical Center and in October on Tuesday, the 11th, at 6:30pm in Winter Park at Casa Feliz, we will have opportunities for you to see this wonderful film as well. It is about the first permanent bandstand Orlando constructed, and the two architects that had one of the few all female practices in the United States in 1924. Mark your calendar and watch for a registration page on our website for them in the future, when details are finalized.

We have added this lost structure to our OFApedia BUILDINGS page. You can learn more about it, see photos and a computer animation of the bandstand. View here.
