The Colonie Suisse Romande de Los Angeles et du Sud de la Californie Swiss club has been in existence since May 1933. Due to the pandemic, our last in-person gathering was for a fondue in 2020. We hope to resume our reunions this Autumn and invite all French-speaking Swiss to join us! Our gatherings are in French (patois romand) but non-French speakers are welcome to join us. To join us at one of our reunions, please contact our president, Lucette Flygenring at lucfly@aol.com or (818) 280-6717 with your contact information. Our events are announced on the SoCalSwiss website (in the calendar section) as well as on our Facebook group page "Suisse Romands de Los Angeles et des environs". You may also contact us through that page as well. Every Romand in the area is welcome to suggest an event and help organize it, whether a picnic, hike or an evening of Raclette. Members of the Colonie Suisse Romand will be volunteering at the Swiss Fair Sunday, July 31 at the Swiss Park in Whittier. Find us there! Jacqueline Fischer, Treasurer, Colonie Suisse Romande |
