At the height of summer, we won't let the rain slow us down!
Hodge Project
This great pair on entry doors were in need of some TLC. We stripped all the old paint and finishes and reinstalled. Also completed a sill repair.
Orchard Park Presbyterian Church
The new sash for the church are coming along nicely. Painting has begun for the rectangular sash, next are the archtops. Since the arches are perfect half-circles, we will fabricate circles and cut them in half.
The before picture below is of the arched window we are building new. Many of these windows have failed IG units (lower right unit), which cannot be replaced. Our new sash will be glazed with silicone from the exterior, so the glass can be replaced if needed.
Richmond Project
Another residential sash restoration project is underway. Its great to see more homeowners interested in keeping their old windows. While the typical replacement window will typically again need replacement, these 100 year old sash can last another 100!
Virginia Project
This old home (oldest in the city...) has a front entrance in need of some repair work. We removed a lot of rotted wood and replaced with new to match. We also added a new custom storm door. Stay tuned for final pics!
Thank you for your interest in staying up to date with our recent and ongoing projects! We appreciate it and we're excited every month to show you more!
