PLANTING TIME & OUR FAVORITE PERMACULTURE RESOURCES |
|
|
Hello gorgeous friend, First off, we love you. If you're in a city, we're sending you buckets of hugs & patience & fresh mountain air. We hope you are staying well & healthy & hopeful. It's planting time here on the farm. We're clearing weeds and reshaping growing beds to welcome new baby seeds of all varieties! Our soil is black and ooooh so luscious. We've got June's thick laying of cow dung & leafy mulch & all the scratchin' around of our many chicken friends to thank for that. What are we planting you ask? All of it! tomatoes, beans, peas, greens, herbs, brinjal, okra, peppers, flowers - the works. We're damn thankful to have the sun at our backs & the soil stuck beneath our fingernails - mm yes that Vitamin B12! In this 4th newsletter, we're sharing our favorite permaculture resources. Real resilience means learning to detach from wasteful, carbon-emitting systems. It starts in your mind, your home & your community. These resources are the road map! After teaching 800+ people in our Radical Self Reliance workshops over the last couple months, we know you are hungry for a new world. Get reading & join us out here in creating it! With absolute & infinite love, Laura and Kunal Khanna ps. 5 more days to submit an environment-themed film to ALT EFF. Tell that person who needs to hear this! |
