Thank You for signing up for our monthly newsletter and most importantly, thank you for being loyal supporters of our German Shepherd Rescue Community.  Our newsletter will update you on announcements and special events, and change of hours for classes if necessary.  This information is intended to give you greater insight into our organization encouraging everyone about rescues and the German Shepherd Breed.

Rettungs-Haus Shepherds, Inc. is a German Shepherd Dog Rescue in which we rescue, rehabilitate, find placement for GSD dogs.  We are a not-for-profit organization and rely on private donations from individuals, corporations, organizations and fund-raising events.

I would like to thank everyone who voted and supported our mission this past year.  Rettungs-Haus Shepherds, Inc. placed 1st  in Pet Training and 2nd place for Pet Rescue.  I would like to congratulate Safe Harbor Humane Society on a very well deserved 1st place in Pet Rescue.

Adopt A Highway Clean Up

Saturday, November 8, 2019  -  9 AM

We would like to remind those that are interested in participating in the highway clean up to please email rhhighwaycleanup@gmail.com so we can send more information and add you to the list.

Intestinal Disorder (Loss of Motility) in Dogs

Ileus occurs in the small intestine and is a disruption of the normal propulsive ability of the gastrointestinal tract. Ileus is very dangerous for dogs and is, in most cases, the result of Blockages of blood supply to the intestine or part of the intestine.  Body wide illness due to the presence of bacteria in the blood.
