ROTARY DE TOLOSA COMMUNITY GRANT AWARD RENEWED FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS City Farm SLO is most grateful to the Rotary De Tolosa Club for its continuing support of our "ON THE FARM" program now entering its second year. Designed and executed by Education Coordinator, Teresa Lees, by May 2020 , this program will have brought 40 classes of students from Kindergarten to Middle School to the Farm to take part in hands-on lessons about Ecology, Botany, Agriculture and Nutrition correlated with their classroom curricula. |

25 students, teachers and parents travelled by bus from Shandon Elementary School to take part in a two hour "On the Farm" Field trip with our Education Coordinator and volunteer docents. More pictures here |
