Marcia's LWL Kenya ProjecT

Job Well Done in Kenya during our business training!

Very Productive sessions focusing on the principles and methods of doing business, but in God's way. My

Kenya students send, "God's blessings" on all who participated in getting me there. I say, "Thank YOU!"

 EVANGELISM AT ITS BEST!

We went to Kenya with all the supplies we needed for the business classes and the classes were very productive, Praise God. God moved so mightily in the classes to reinforce His goodness in their lives and their commitment to their businesses success. By the end of the training, they felt empowered by the strategies they had learned to begin to have more financial success and become economically viable in their communities.

Pastor Ruth(blonde) was my very efficient assistant and Pastor MollyBlack top) my interpreter. Without them, I would not have been able to accomplish so much so quickly. I thank you both!

One of the things I learned as the students were telling me some of their issues in starting a business and trying to

grow a business, is that sometimes the business system or rules for vendors can be such that it stunts their growth

and success. The vendors have to be really creative and resourceful, plus work exceptionally hard to achieve their goals. This information does confirm my belief that we have to go to a country asking questions, and don't assume

what works in our environment will work anywhere. Sometimes it does but in some places, it will not be successful.

Pastor Ruth gave 10 men's neckties, and also I had some items from the class to the students who were present for all classes, so they can sell in their business to gain some income. See below!

We did many other activities during our stay in Kenya. We did two outdoor/tent meetings which were just great considering most evenings it rained, yet people came out and were touched.  We did a marriage seminar, and we

had testimonies of marriages being revived and energized. We preached, as well as did some practical

interactive activities.  See below for pictures of our marriage seminar, tent meetings, and Sunday services

The above event was in Nairobi where I was invited to speak to some youths, elementary to college age, in Nairobi. They were so eager to make a difference in their communities and dream big. Not only to dream of the possibilities but to hear from the Lord the plans to fulfill the dream. I spoke a lot about fulfilling dreams and steadfastly resting in God. I rained a lot and the lights went but I was determined to continue to preach the word. Everyone huddled up close together and with a flashlight we got the job done. Praise God!. My other trip was to Homa Bay to meet a Sister who had been a missionary and her husband a Pastor for over 50 years. They are still involved in supporting and

pioneering projects in their community. I am blessed by the knowledge they shared with me. They are awesome!

Here is a chance to participate in Revealing His Glory!
