CPD Cycle ends 31 December

You will be aware that your CPD needs to be uploaded onto the Registration Boards website by 31 December.  Please use your registration confirmation email from PodiatryNZ as proof of attendance or you can upload a pdf of your CPD record from PodiatryNZ.  Instructions on how to do this can be found on our website.

If you still need to achieve your CPD, we have resources that can help.

Weetbix TRYathalon with ASICS

The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is designed for Kiwi kids aged 7-15 years to help them stay active and healthy through a programme of participation. Our partner ASICS is a valued supporter of the TRYathalon and for the second year, PodiatryNZ members are providing support by organising one volunteer podiatrist for each venue.

Please contact Leslie if you would like to participate. Check below for times and venues. We need one Pod for each of the following events.

2020 Conference

Plan your Conference break now.  We have a series of events that are running from Wednesday 24 June to Saturday 27 June 2020.  You can select a program that meets your needs by enrolling in the program that best suits you.  Come early, stay late – take a well-deserved break and make this Conference a time to recharge the batteries.   Rotorua is a fantastic destination.

 

Star Conference Presenter

We are feeling very excited that we have secured Simone Crange to lead our interactive Paediatrics Workshop.  This will be a hands session focusing on key components of paediatric assessment technique.  We were very excited to read that Simone has recently had her research published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research - The impact of shoe flexibility on gait, pressure and muscle activity of young children. A systematic review.  You can read this research here.

Postgraduate Education

Are you looking to increase job satisfaction and grow your expertise as a podiatrist?  AUT have core speciality papers to assist you meet your goals.  You can undertake this study and work towards a postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, Master of Health in Podiatry.  Or you can enrol for individual papers of interest to you.  Here are just a few of the papers on offer in 2020.  We encourage you to consider these specialised university papers as a way of increasing your professional development and enhancing your career.
