Mark Sept. 15, 2018, on your calendar for the annual luncheon. All members should have received an email from Karen McCoy regarding the request the League is making of each member to support this event. Each member is asked to:
- Solicit one item for the silent or live auction
or
- Make a contribution either as a table host or a sponsor. You can sign up for both here.

July Meeting
Laura Boulay, the founder of One Million Women Walking, will be our guest speaker in July. Laura Boulay is a devoted daily walker, author, speaker, entrepreneur and unstoppable champion of women and their dreams. She founded One Million Women Walking to help women get the exercise they need to live the happy, healthy, long life they deserve. She will speak at the meeting July 18. Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with a member presentation, dinner, the guest speaker and then the NCBWL business.

Membership is growing
We have several new members to the league and want to welcome them. New members, please use the password "ncbwl2018" to sign into the member section of the website to see bylaws, a membership directory Excel spreadsheet and more. There is also information about how to sign up for the Kroger Rewards Program  and Amazon Smile to benefit NCBWL. 
 
Kroger Community Rewards Program Update
The Nashville Catholic Business Women's League has earned more than $1300 since it began participating in the Kroger Community Reward Program. Each participant currently signed up to support NCBWL through the Kroger Community Reward program will be required to re-enroll their Kroger Plus card on an annual basis through the Kroger.com website. Re-enrollment for the 2018-2019 program will be from Aug. 1-Aug.30 with the new program year beginning on Sept. 1. Re-enrollment can still be done after this time. Register online at krogercommunityrewards.com and be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with NCBWL, 96602, after you sign up. More information about this program can be found in the member section of the website.
 
Board/auction meeting set for July 11
Board and luncheon/auction committee members, two meetings are set for July 11, 2018.  The board meeting will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the home of President Debbie Lassiter. The auction team joins the board 6:30 p.m. for dinner and then an auction meeting from 7-8:30 p.m.
 
Prayers for the Langteau family
Carol Langteau's daughter Kim Larsen passed away last week after a long battle with breast cancer. Cathy has been a NCBWL board member since 2005. Please keep the family in your prayers.
