Tannery Run Brew Works Briefing

Thankfulness

'Tis the season to share thoughts of gratitude.

We have so much to be thankful for. The great team of people and companies working towards making our brewery project come to life have been immensely supportive. It has been about two years since we decided to make Tannery Run Brew Works a reality, and in that time people have shown us a plethora of kindness and assistance.

Next, we are thankful for the awesome borough of Ambler, Pennsylvania, 19002.

Many of the existing businesses in Ambler have reached out to welcome Tannery Run to the neighborhood, despite the fact that we aren't even open for business yet!

We've planned and partnered, installed a rain garden at a local church in conjunction with the local environmental advisory council, and given away a lot of free beer!

We hope you have had the chance to enjoy some samples along the way.

Collaboration Brunch

We're stoked to share with you a brunch with Toto's Gelateria & Caffé on Sunday, November 26, 2017. This is a limited seating event, selling out fast. Tickets are $20 each and include your choice of main dish, beermosa and gelato. We'll serve one side of our Multipass Split, Plavalaguna, a Multigrain Belgian Witbier, clocking in at 6.1% ABV, and 18 IBUs.

The Pink Boots Society

We are thankful to annouce that co-founder, Carly Chelder, has won a Business of Craft Brewing Certificate scholarship through the Pink Boots Society and Portland State University online. Education is a really important component to our vision, and we take every opportunity to learn more.

The scholarship includes a Pay-it-Forward component in which Carly will share her knowledge from this experience with the local Greater Philly Pink Boots chapter. After completion, Carly will earn her very own pink steel-toed rubber boots. She is grateful for this opportunity and will share updates along the way!

Thanksgiving Beer & Food Pairings

Don't forgot, when pairing a beer with your bird (or Tofurky), make sure to match boldness of flavors. Festbier goes great with almost any appetizer or side dish, while a nice Belgian Golden Ale pairs well with stuffing and gravy. Imperial Stout with dessert is touchdown in the making or rely on its dominant flavors to cover up that weird thing crazy Uncle Larry brought. No matter what your Thanksgiving table is filled with, there's a beer for that!

We hope to provide beer for your 2018 Thanksgiving celebration, but until then check out this article for more ideas of how to pair your Thanksgiving meal with the perfect beer.
