November 2017 Newsletter

We are amazed and so thankful for the working of the Holy Spirit in the churches we have been visiting.  In Africa, we often only catch glimpses of the spiritual climate in the USA, often through the news and through social media.  The statistics and some of the quotes we read can be downright disheartening.

It has been great though, to personally be visiting churches and see pastors whose hearts are still passionate for souls, as well as broken over the cultural trends in American society. Pastors who, instead of being swept downstream with non-biblical standards of living are rising to the challenge out of desire to experience the fire of God and His manifest, holy outpourings.  It has been great to see people, moved by the Holy Spirit respond to altar calls and make deeper commitments both in their hearts and their pockets towards this Last Days soul harvest.

Just this last month alone we participated in two outreaches that were geared towards getting the gospel into communities at Halloween time, and several missions conventions where pastors took huge leaps of faith, and God met them.  Lynnfield, Massachusetts for example – Pastors Tim and Jacquie Schmidt of Calvary Christian Church were shooting for two million dollars in faith promises while in the midst of a building project.  They hit and went beyond that.  If you knew the number of people in the church and the dynamics involved, you would know what a miracle that is.  To have been part of a team of missionaries that participated in that move of God was just a privilege that leaves me speechless.

There is so much to be Thankful for, and we praise the Lord for all He is doing.

Psa 40:5  O Lord my God, many and many a time you have done great miracles for us, and we are ever in your thoughts. Who else can do such glorious things? No one else can be compared with you. There isn’t time to tell of all your wonderful deeds. (TLB)

Prayer Corner

We have one prayer request and it has to do with something we have been persevering in prayer for over the last year - our permits to get back into Namibia.  Time has run out now, and we either need the miracle of a permit to get back into Namibia, or new direction.
