The Women's Club of Flower Hill is off to a great start!   We held our Wine & Cheese Kickoff and Installation in September and it was a huge success!  Thanks to Pluckd Studios for a beautiful violin performance and setting the ambiance throughout the night.  The food was generously donated by Pearl East and it was delicious!  The Board
 
This past week we hosted our first children's event of the year, our Halloween Movie Party!  The kids dressed up in some amazing costumes and enjoyed watching Casper at the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire House.  We want to thank One River Art School for entertaining the kids with halloween sketches, coloring and button making!

Charity Concert: Live Music with County Line Band LI

Looking for a fun evening with some friends our your spouse? Join is for a Charity Concert this Saturday October 14th.  Due to the upcoming weather forecast, the concert has been moved indoors to Congregational Manhasset.  
 
Live Music performance by County Line Band, a charity fundraiser for Port Washington Resident Mr. Van Schenkhof, a beloved Manhasset HS Chorus Teacher who is battling ALS.  Franky's Souvlaki Food truck will be available to purchase food.
 
County Line is a dance-centric, live Country Music band from Long Island, New York, playing the best of Modern Country, Crossover Country and Southern Rock in the Long Island Metro Area since 2010 for your Line and Partner dancing or listening pleasure.

Annual Christmas Luncheon & Grand Raffle

Our Annual Christmas Luncheon will be held on November 30th at Port Washington Yacht Club!  
Join us for holiday shopping, raffles, wine and lunch!  Proceeds will be donated to local charities and children's charities.

Light the Night Kits are now available for purchase below. 
This one night event celebrates unity and pride in our vibrant village and community.
Picture front yards and Village Hall lit up by candlelight. 
This event is ran in conjunction with the Munsey Park Women's Club.
The Christmas Tree & Menorah Lighting will take place on the same day

Philanthropic

Thanks to the support of our members, the Women's Club of Flower Hill has already donated to some local charities.  
 
The Club sponsored the MWCABC 5k Run/Walk and has donated to the MWCABC Ladies Night, MAX Afterschool Xperience, and Manhasset Lakeville Fire Dept.  
 
The WCoFH is also a proud sponsor of the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce "Halloween on Plandome Trick or Treat" event.  This is a great way for the Club to support and be involved in our Community and our children.  

Membership

Membership is still open for the Club's 2023-24 year!  We have some exciting events planned... a Wellness Workshop at the Cooking Lab, A Galentines Chocolate Pretzel Making,  Floral Arrangement, a Salt Cave Ladies Night and more!  
 
After December, only members will be receiving the Club's Monthly Newsletters and Event Invites so make sure to sign up now and tell your neighbors and friends!  
Membership is $40 for the year (September - June)

Club News

Some Sad News... The WCoFH would like to extend our condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of Marilyn Herschlein.  She will be missed by many. Marilyn was a long time active Club member and a best friend to all her neighbors on Northwoods .
