The 21. of March 2021 is the "International Day of Forests" and therefore the "Day of Natural Climate Heores" π Why? Trees absorb CO2 as they grow and if their wood is used permanently, e.g. in multi-storey buildings, the carbon remains sequestered in it. At the same time, we replace more energy-intensive materials. This way, when building in wood, our climate benefits twice!
Building a Second Forest
Every building that consists of timber is actually an inhabitable carbon-sink: actively contributing to saving our climate!
