Update on COVID-19 Impacts

We are just as disappointed as as you are regarding the race cancellations and postponements because of the current health crisis.  Some races have moved to a virtual platform, so please consider supporting the race directors by signing up and  running solo.  Because there isn't much going on besides waiting this thing out, we will only be sending this newsletter out every couple of weeks.  We will post any race updates to the Arsenal Events Facebook page and our website as they become available. Hopefully all of you are staying healthy and still able to get your training in.  We are looking forward to seeing you out at the races once things open back up! 

The Run on TP 2020 Virtual Race

The Run on Toilet Paper 2020 is a virtual race designed to bring a smile to your face during this difficult time.  Hopefully this gives you a chance to get out of the house, stretch your legs, and enjoy the beauty of spring.  Consider making it an event for the entire family!  It's probably the only opportunity you'll have to run a race that is 19, 38, or 57 toilet paper rolls long, or you can take on a bigger challenge and run the 19K Ultra race!  Bonus: you'll get an amazing medal and t-shirt!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to several organizations that are on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19. When registering you will be able to select one of the following organizations you would like to support:

• Mary Washington Hospital Foundation
• Rappahannock Area Community Services Board
• Samaritan's Purse

You also have the option to donate directly to any organization by going to the Donate section of the registration page, or by designating an additional amount at checkout.  All money donated through either of these methods goes directly to the selected charity.
