Thanks Altrusa International Club! |

Thanks to the women at the New Albany Altrusa International Club, we are able to celebrate our youth's birthdays more than ever! They also raised enough money to take our youth to mini golf this summer. We appreciate each and every one of them for the service they do for our community! |
|
|
As the summer approaches, we are reaching out to request your kind support in providing fun and engaging activities for the youth this summer! With your generous donations, we can offer the youth the chance to participate in a range of summer activities such as sports, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor adventures. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding donations. |

This month, we wanted to shine a spotlight on our Substance Abuse Program: The Seven Challenges. The Seven Challenges is a counseling program designed for teenagers struggling with substance abuse. It has been recognized by SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices. This program is particularly effective for young people involved in the juvenile justice system and has been widely implemented in communities and secure facilities throughout the country. Unlike traditional approaches that simply tell young people what to do, the Seven Challenges takes a different approach. It provides a decision-making framework that empowers teenagers to make informed choices about their lives and drug use. Instead of dictating their behavior, the program helps them explore their options and make decisions that align with their goals and values. |

First Capitol Christian Church has taken on the task of giving our gym a new look. New ceiling tiles, floors, and a fresh coat of paint will make our gym look new again. We have raised over $3,000 of our $20,000 goal. We have a fundraising page set up to receive monetary donations at the button below! If you know anyone who would want to help out, feel free to spread the word! |
