LOVING LATELY & A MOMENT VOLUME 1 |

Hi Friend, How are you today? From where I type, it's too humid to do anything outdoors, so I'm feeling a little claustrophobic in my house. But with this self-preserving enclosure, I'm also inspired to begin something I've wanted to do for ages now. I've been meaning to begin a short, weekly email to you where I share a small update, one thing I'm loving lately and a moment. It won't always be riveting, but I promise it will always be an honest slice of what's happening in my world. You can probably bet on seeing some new favorites in my 'loving lately' and reading about a time I adjusted my self talk, or needed to reframe something in my 'moment.' Here we go, woohoo! |

HELLO - Fresca?! I mean, talk about simple pleasures. While my husband and I were in the hotter part of Eagle County, Colorado last week, we found ourselves not just dehydrated from the altitude but also a little queasy at times. As we were slowly shuffling down Main Street Minturn, we popped into a gas station and something compelled me to try this blast from the past. WOW did it revitalize me! It probably goes without saying that as soon as we got home I stocked my fridge. (If you don't know, I LOVE beverages) Move over Zevia, there's a new citrusy drink in town. And it's not costing me $1 a can! |

WATER - oh how I never knew I needed you. I find so much clarity when I am near running water in particular. Since I returned home, I've been playing background streams and rivers while I work, unwind and sleep. One of those times, I had a moment. What if instead of being so chaotic and tightly wound about something troubling me, I could allow myself to flow, as a leaf would down a stream? Stay with me here. If I try to resist the pull of the current, experiencing pain is unavoidable. I'll get cut by rocks, bounce off branches, miss the gifts that come with...surrender. Sure, there's a chance I'll still get a scrape that way, but the odds are much more in my favor if I am flowing with the current. And more importantly, how will I ever know what I am capable of if I am always in control? |

Eeek I am so close to the release of the dry goods pumpkin oat bars! I haven't shared too many details on Instagram, mostly because the launch date is a moving target trying to manage all the variables. But there are a couple things I can share today with you! First note; there are TWO bags of dry goods for the bars in each package, so when you order '1 bag,' you will actually get to make two separate batches of bars (or one double batch) with the ingredients included. Between the cost of shipping and the labor required to prepare and package these, I wanted to give you as much value as possible in every order. So while I'm not yet at the point where it makes sense to ship just one batch of each version (one includes protein powder, the other containing additional ingredients that offset the powder), I hope you'll be excited that you get to make two batches of bars with every purchase. The second exciting part of the launch, is that with every purchase of this first round of limited supply, I will also include a free download of Food for Thought, my most recent recipe/storytelling creation. Just a small thank you to anyone offering their continued support. And if you already have that one, please email me and I can share a different digital creation with you - you're choice on my page. |

Well thank you for reading, friends! Wishing you a fantastic start to July! Please tell me; what do you think of a weekly format like this? On a scale of '1' (too much, I'll unsubscribe) to '10' (I'd take an email every day!), I'd love to know where you land. I'd take anything north of a '5' as a green light! Thank you friend - have a beautiful rest of your week! Warmly, Katie |
