We know this month is all about the work we do as SLP's; the advocacy, the therapeutic interventions and assessments, the family and staff training, and the prevention measures we preach and much more, all for the same reason, so that we can help connect people with their world in more

effective and efficient ways. 

This month celebrate the work you do!  Share the work you 've been doing with your colleagues, family and firends.  Brag on your clients and let everyone else know the importance of the work we do!  Let's put away the stereotype that no one really knows what we do beyond articulation.  Go ahead and brag about being an SLP!

May Challenge

In keeping with the theme of  the BHSM theme of "connecting people" , this month I challenge you to look at all the ways you are connecting your students, clients and patients to their world through communication but don't stop there!  Connect with the families as well.  We are building the entire team!
