Another month come and gone. Where does the time go? Oh, that's right. It goes into my writing. The first draft of Prairie Queen, the much anticipated sequel to Mountain Princess, is now completed. The series is starting to take form. Unfortunately, the finale, currently titled Morreland Empress, isn't scheduled until 2028, but if there's enough of a demand for the book, it could be brought forward. Fire's Tongue, the sequel to Water's Eye, is the next book on the schedule. Unlike the books in the previous series, The Doors of Despair, in Elements Openings, each book will focus a different person. Fire's Tongue features Megana, a fire mage, in the events leading up to, and after, her joining the group. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to switch back to Maya's first person point of view once they do meet up, but we'll see how I feel when that happens. Stay tuned. |

With the completion of Prairie Queen, I'll be moving back to editing again, starting today. Specifically, I'll be working through my first two Cary Simms books, The Fairy Mushroom Forest and The Lost Yule Log. It's the first time I'll be editing my new middle grade book series. Once The Fairy Mushroom Forest is on second draft, I'll be looking for some beta readers (people who read an unfinished work and provide some much needed feedback). The second draft of the book will be posted, in its entirety, on my Royal Road page here. |

Hi there. I know, people don't usually hear from me with... well, this hat. But, hey, I do make all the covers this way. In fact, I spent all day yesterday putting together books for some of our future releases. They're all available on our website now. I hope you like them. For those of you that don't know, I also make some nice book trailers. They're all available on our YouTube channel. Starting with Water's Eye, though, I'll be trying to put together a new trailer as part of the final signoff of the books. For Water's Eye, that will be Memorial Day. However, as Water's Eye isn't slated for release until July at the earliest (can't just throw it up once everything is in place), I'll be releasing the trailer at about the same time. Look for it on our YouTube channel, Twitter, Instagram, and possibly here come July. |

My first event of the year is looking to be Jersey Pride, which is scheduled for 6/5. I'll have my usual booth, as well as all twenty-four books that are currently available. I'll post more information on where I'll be located at the event once I know. As many of you know, most of my books are LGBT+ inclusive, thus my participation in the event. I'm hoping to see some of you there, and looking forward to more exposure, for both my previous and my current works. |
