Greetings Livingsong Family, Sending our love once again from the state-line of sunny Florida. After a long but fruitful ministry weekend in Daytona Beach and Deland, we are happy to be back in Hilliard to rest for a day and recuperate. We have so much to share and to begin, we would like to thank you for participating in our Undergarment Drive last month (August)! Whether you mailed a package of donations, gave monetarily online, prayed, and helped us to create awareness... Your faith in this mission does not go unnoticed. With all sincerity, your continued partnership towards our ministry efforts during these unprecedented times continues to build our confidence to cast our net to greater lengths to draw more lost souls for the kingdom! Unfortunately for this year’s Undergarment Drive, we were not able to lead the chapel service at the emergency shelter as originally planned on the 4th of August. Some of the staff members tested positive for Covid, so understandably we were not permitted to enter the shelter. Still, however, we were able to drop off the undergarments and back-to-school supplies we gathered, thanks to your contributions! Please keep the staff members of the Trinity Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter in prayer. In total, we delivered 519 undergarments and back-to-school items,.. praise God!! 🙌 |

There is no way around the challenges ahead for us to face in our efforts to advance the Gospel because we understand that we do not wrestle against flesh. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12) Nonetheless, God is our victory Amen? As believers, we must remember to walk in that truth. In this age of information, once the aftermath of a headline report begins to settle, another one seems to immediately stir up chaos, division, fear, and uncertainty. Nevertheless, the Bible tells us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10) Faith isn’t a feeling, it’s a choice to believe and trust God who promises to always be with us to guide and strengthen us through the storm. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIs might - putting on the whole armor of God so we may be able to stand against the wiles or schemes of the devil” (Ephesians 6:10-11) As mentioned earlier, there is so much to fill you in on! When we’re not on the road, the sanctuary and choir room of First Baptist Church of Boulougne has been like our 2nd home. 😊 Our typical weekday begins with our devotional during brunch, and once our ministry administrative tasks are complete, we head over to the church for the rest of the day. As we approach this last quarter year, our prayer/vision is to continue developing the worship team and audio/visual area of the church to reach a sufficient program that meets the weekly needs of the ministry. We know that we will definitely miss this special church that is dear to our heart, and we are eternally grateful for their love and support towards our own ministry efforts, which has been tremendous! So what’s next? For now, all of our upcoming worship services are scheduled in Florida and Georgia. These commitments are specifically to recovery support groups and residential recovery programs, but we are also praying for doors to open for us to enter prisons again. We encourage you to visit our website @ www.livingsongministry.com and Facebook Page for the details of each service. If you’re in the area, we hope you’ll consider volunteering with us. There is plenty to do, and our need is great! Lord willing our 2022 mission tour will include several east coast states. Lastly, our thanks to those of you who have recently filled out our Ministry Event Questionnaire Form! This tool has been extremely helpful to us and we appreciate every invitation to serve. We love you all and praying for God’s divine peace and grace over you! Manny & Erika Lynn Garcia Livingsong |
