From Sara, for Sara:

a birthday offering

I'll do anything to make her happy.

She wanted a master teacher, I put aside everything else to become one for her: in every student I teach, I teach her.

She wanted to be free and independent: I gladly work two jobs to fulfil her wish and I am buying her a new car this month.

She wanted new operas written: I had my Conservatory students write one that will be performed tomorrow, July 6, on her birthday, as part of their final exam of my course (I'll tell you more about it asap - it's too cool to be true and it's just the beginning).

She wanted people to perform the old works properly, too: so I'll teach them how to do it -for her- gladly sending into oblivion all the bigotry, stupidity, resistance, ungratefulness, humiliation, greed, corruption, unawareness and narcissistic singing and thinking I find on the way.

She, is my goal. My love for her, is my forever goal.

The rest must level up or go - period.

Happy Birthday, sweetest of creatures.

Thank you for not leaving me in spite of everything.

I - whomever and whatever I am (and I don't know, for I don't care) -

MUST have done something good to come here as your beautiful self.

Allow me the chance to keep learning,

through every experience and every student I teach,

how to love you, appreciate you, become you,

every single day more and better,

for many, many years to come.

Your Maestra forever.
