All the Garden Things

From fencing to weeding to planting to watering to harvesting (yes, already!), we have been keeping busy! The garden has taken our full attention along with blooming wildflowers, cuddly cats, and warmer weather.

Produce, Herbs & Flowers

One of the most rewarding feelings is watching a little sprout emerge from a pile of dirt that you have been carefully watering for two weeks. It seems like our beans sprouted to 2-inch height overnight, along with the cucumbers and lettuce. I've had many people ask what produce, herbs, and flowers we are growing, so here is the complete list. This is likely going to be very boring to most of you, but for the gardeners who are interested in trying out some of these varieties, we tried to buy all of our seeds from reputable companies that focus on organic and heirloom seeds. We purchased our seeds from Territorial Seeds, Seed Savers Exchange, Fedco, Pinetree Garden Seeds, and Strictly Medicinal Seeds.
