Part 2 - strengthening our Foundation
We have said that ‘Enlightenment is a process of unfolding, of growing more sensitive, more refined in our Vibrations, more aware of the things that rule us... and the consequences this creates’
To this I want to add that the first steps to Enlightenment are deeply grounded in Stillness, Quietness and Inner Peace, for these are the vibrations we must achieve.
Stillness is the ability to step away from the unending demands of daily life, and take a deep breath ... and just BE...
Only now can we become aware of the more subtle movements of Life, and how this gentle current moves everything forward...
And for the first time realize that all the noise, the clutter, all the material obsessions, they are all just a little bit ‘crude’, more brutish in their values, more ... how can I put it nicely, somewhat coarse [and perhaps even vulgar at times... like dressing up a scrawny chicken and calling it a peacock - its essence still remains the same - its vibrations reveal it for what it is]
Next is Quietness, that most necessary skill we all should learn!! [especially politicians !] Quietness allows us to listen, to pay attention, become more aware of what is going on, unhidden by the cackling noise the world is so fond of...
Only now can we shift our Consciousness away from this material cacophony, and for the first time are able to truly hear our own Higher Consciousness.
Only through Quietness can we evolve...
[wow ! did you ever think it would be so simple ?!?]
So what about Inner Peace ?
Through Stillness and Quietness we are now guided to turn within - to truly examine Who and What we are ...
Yes, we’ve been through this before - If you are not your age / job / status / body... then who are you ?
[and no ! absolutely not ! you are not ‘A Spiritual Being having a human experience !!’ That’s just a facile, superficial answer, for if you’d ever had a true Spiritual Union then you would know that ‘you’ - as Spirit - are everyone, and everything in creation... and you would be transformed by that Divine bond of Oneness.]
And so I ask again - Who and What are you...?
How do you define yourself, and your Life... and just how valuable is your answer ?
But I digress.
Inner Peace comes from a gentle acceptance that no matter what we may have done in the past, we are no longer that !
Yes, we may well have Karma, and yes, we also have duties and responsibilities, but we have grown, matured, settled our Monkey Mind and turbulent childhood, have moved along the Spiritual Path, and have found true value in being peaceful.
No more harsh words, belittling others in a vain attempt to make ourselves ‘better’, no longer trapped by the noisy parade of common glamour - where he who has the latest toys, the most expensive gadgets or the latest whatever, is somehow considered to be ‘better’ than others...
No, now we have realized that ‘we’ are this gentle, kind, loving human being, and that Peace is the most important Key to Enlightenment
Remember, in your final breath Spirit truly does not care what your bank account was... but how you’ve participated in making this world a better - spiritual and not material - place !
So I’ll leave you with a simple question –
How have you directly contributed to the Brotherhood of Man ?
Be strong... be clear ... and above all be peaceful... for the Path unfolds more easily with each step you take.
You are all precious, my beloved Brothers and Sisters, and so with the fullness of my heart I greet you all, Namaste !
