2020 THEME: A New Vision For the Future World Dream Day, held on September 25th, is a global day of action dedicated to setting Dreams in motion. The purpose of the day is to honor the dreamer, visionary, and innovator in all of us through live and online events. Our Mission: To inspire, activate, and celebrate the power of ideas, goals, and dreams. We can participate by engaging in individual reflections, dynamic conversations and expressive observances. Declare your dream via social media, create art, host Dream Dinners and spoken word performances; create a public DreamDance; engage in dream-based conversations; host a community gathering and anything else we haven’t mentioned. World Dream Day unites the world in achievement and aspiration, by providing an opportunity for creativity, collaboration, contribution, and innovation. Core to the World Dream Day experience is the declaration of inspired visions for the future, as well as celebratory events and dialogue that take place in key locations all around the world. In perfect alignment with dreamlifenz.com check out the website for World Dream Day news and look at ways to make your best dreams come true! How to Jump-Start Your Active Dreaming - Get motivated to remember your dreams: they contain valuable messages and experiences for you, so decide to remember your dreams. - Set an intention to dream on a topic you’re passionate about, such as an adventure in … name the dream location/activity. - Put a pen and paper beside the bed to write down your dream. Write the date on the page, anticipating that you’ll have something to write in the morning. - Treat each dream like a brilliant gemstone, with each facet containing valuable new insights. |
|
|
After Sleep: - Write down the dream right after it occurs, even if it’s a thought, feeling, or word. Give it a title. - If you can’t recall your dreams at first, try changing position in bed, as sometimes it helps to move back into the position you were in when dreaming. - Share your dreams. Talking about them helps you to recall more. Remember though, you are the ultimate authority on your own dreams. - If you can't remember a dream from that night, write up a dream you do recall, or a dream-like incident. This gives your mind the message that it can start to recall dreams. - Honour your dream by taking action: write, draw, talk, or research information about it. - Give thanks for your dreams and enjoy them! I love to help clients awaken to the purpose, and make whatever changes they need to make in their lives through techniques like Active Dreaming. Active dreaming is perfect for dream circles, as well as one-on-one. I’m currently holding sessions online and will be starting with in-person workshops soon. I'm excited to bring Young Living products to Dream Life NZ's offerings. I've depended on Young Living oils for years to keep healthy in sometimes challenging environments when I lived abroad. Now I'm back in New Zealand, I'm pleased to distribute these products. They fit perfectly with the lifestyle offerings of Dream Life NZ, and can enhance active dreaming, Reality Transurfing®, just relaxing... or anything really. Check it out! Essential oils are aromatic, concentrated plant extracts that are carefully obtained through steam distillation, cold pressing, or resin tapping. We offer essential oils, blends, and oil-infused products with the optimal levels of specific, naturally occurring essential oil constituents to maximise their potency. I recommend Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood, as well as the Peace & Calming® blend. With a comforting, fresh aroma, this soothing and uplifting blend creates a relaxing environment that’s great for the entire family.
