Confidence

 Put your confidence forward and leave your self doubt behind.

 

Remember, your brain clings to what is familiar, easy and safe. Most of the time, self doubt is the easy thing to do. If you have created a habit of doubting your abilities and what you can do, your brain will continue to think that is familiar.

 

First, I want you to pay attention to what triggers your confidence. Is there something you are really good at that you can confidently do, no problem? There are many things in our day to day that we accomplish with confidence without even realizing.

 

Pay attention to your mind and acknowledge that self doubt is a choice. Treat your thoughts like trying on a hat. When you think "I can't do that" or "what will people think of me" or "I could never be able to accomplish that". How do those make you feel? Now try on the confidence hat. "I can do anything" or "I can accomplish amazing things" or "I am confident in my abilities". How do those make you feel?

 

The more we put ourselves out in the world with confident thoughts, the more things we attempt, try and experience. We give ourselves permission to feel confident about certain things, but why not create confidence in all things?

 

With the option to show up as confident and willing to think positive thoughts about your abilities, also comes with the possibility that you will fail or get rejected. You can't let that outweigh the positive impact of showing up and doing it anyway. Go into everything you do with confidence and the willingness to experience any emotion.

 

Thinking thoughts that create confidence is one thing. BELIEVING the thoughts is the next step. So, I encourage you to think confidence based thoughts over and over and over again. Show up in your life as confident and your brain will start to acknowledge these thoughts as familiar vs. self doubt.

 

Be confidently you. The world needs to see what you can do!
