My work "The Room" is represented in the entrance hall of MACRO Museum of Contemporary Art Rosario, Argentina as a part of "BIENALSUR 2021 - The State of Things". The antisocial bar of my previous series has been recreated responding to the current post pandemic period for the Biennial. It was accompanied with the performance of a bartender only during the opening reception. I modified the design of the bar considering the context of Argentina.

自分の作品、「The Room」は「BIENALSUR 2021 -  The State of Things」の展覧会で、アルゼンチンはロザリオのマクロ現代美術館のエントランスホールで展示されています。オープニングのレセプション時のみバーテンダーによるパフォーマンスを伴った作品になりました。 2002年から続けていた一人でお酒を飲まなければならないバーのシリーズを、パンデミックの現況を踏まえビエンナーレのためにリメイクしました。カトリックの国であるアルゼンチンのコンテクストを考えて、懺悔室のようなデザインにしました。

自分の「 Self Sufficient Life」のシリーズ三作をまとめて松末権九郎稲荷神社拝殿（糸島市二丈松末）で展示します。2019年の京都の京都場や、現在参加している10月31日まで開催される「すみだ向島Expo2021」の展示と並んで、かなりかっこいいインスタレーションになったと思います。是非ご覧ください!

I will represent my series work of "Self Sufficient Life" in Matsusue Tenmangu. I think it became one of the coolest installation I had to exhibit 3 projects such as in Kyoto-ba, Kyoto (2019) and "Sumida Mukojima Expo 2021" which still continue in Tokyo until 31st October. For the current pandemic I've remade the New-style bar 'All Alone' which I realized for the bar street in Sendai, Japan, 2004. I'll open it on my own everyday as a master of the bar except for my travel schedule to Fukuoka from 13th-17th October and Monday. I'm also showing a new video work which I made during my mandatory quarantine in Japan. 

2004年に仙台の居酒屋で実現し、パンデミックの今にあわせてリメイクすることになった、新スタイル酒処「ひとりぼっち」を会期中自ら店長として営業する他(10月13日(水)から17日(日)の福岡出張期間、月曜定休日を除く)、日本帰国時の強制隔離期間中に作ったビデオの新作を展示しています。

「Self Sufficient Life」のシリーズ3作品を、巨大な動物の写真とともに屋外会場で展示し、それぞれの記録映像を短くまとめたものを、毎日午後6時から、その屋外会場に設置した大きなスクリーンで上映しています。(ただし、天候が悪い時は上映中止になる予定です。) 

I have been showing series work of "Self Sufficient Life" with huge animal pictures on the outdoor venue. And I will show short edited version of 3 videos on a big screen  everyday from 6pm. (But the projection might be canceled depending on the weather. )
