Weekly Recipes & Nutrition Tips

It seems as though this hot weather is here to stay and one of the most important things you can do to take care of your body and health is to make sure you are staying hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is the number one way to hydrate and this is important because water keeps every system in the body functioning properly.

If you have a hard time with drinking plain water, some fun and tasty ways to spice it up is to add  your favorite sliced fruit, veggies, or herbs, such as berries, orange or lemon slices, cucumber slices, mint, or rosemary to a pitcher of cold water which adds a hint of flavor. Another fun and healthy way to cool down and hydrate on these hot days is to make smoothies or slushies.
