Big  news

Welcome to the may news letter.

The club has been finding it hard to sell the meat trays at the tavern over the last few months .

So a few of the guys have been looking at different venues to conduct our fund raising to help keep us out there doing the things we all love  .

It has been decided to move our raffles from the Redbank plains tavern up the hill to Eden's brew house .

This was not a easy decision as the club has called the tavern home for the last 30+ years and we thank the tavern for there support over this time .

the brew house has offered us a time slot from 4pm to 6pm .

We will be starting of this week with 6 meat trays and hope to get up to 10 over the next few weeks .

This Friday will be our first raffles at the brew house (so please don't go down to the tavern as we will not be there) .

It would be really good if we could get as many as possible club members at the first raffle to show the patrons what a top club we are and maybe get a few more members .

Club boat

The club boat went up to gladstone for the hook up it then traveled a bit further and ended up in Rockhampton.

It ran well but just couldnt find the big fish .

Don't forget people, the boat is there for all club members to use .

So get out there and don't forget to send pics of your catch so we can fill up the next news letter.

Club trip

The next big trip was  Gladstone  Boyne Tannum Hookup.

Friday 30 April.

This was a fun filled trip with a good turn out of club members .Everyone had gr8 time away ,there was lots of laughter and even a few fish caught .

The weather was not on our side and didnt allow us to get to the reef and catch a few reds .

But that's fishing.

A big shout out to our catch and release club captain its very important we all only take what we can eat .

Lets look after fishing for our kids and there kids.

Thanks Graham.

(there's a story behind this )

Im sure Graham will share over a cold one .
