How's your first week into December going?

The decorations are up and we've loosely started some advent activities in the evening. Since our college boys are finishing up semester projects and diving into finals, it's been a little hit-or-miss...and that's okay, too.

I love having all my boys home yet I'm still missing our usual holiday gatherings and find myself reminiscing about loved ones we've lost.

The slower pace overall has been good, so that's what I'm hanging on to.

The JOYS of December: 31 Days of Joy

I put together some tips for those of you starting a 2021 Monthly Bible Quilt Journal. Remember to go at your own pace...I'm just getting the info out there before my family time during the holidays.

~ Have any family favorite cookies you're baking? ~

We have a tradition of baking coffee cakes from a recipe that my Mother-in-law passed on to me. Once the first batch is going, that aroma triggers all kinds of memories for us that have developed over the years. We might just have to break into baking mode soon!

Our last ZOOM chat of the year will be an evening session on  Tuesday, December 15th at 7:00 p.m. central.  All are welcome!

Enjoy your weekend, friends!
