Combined AGM, Prizegiving, and Winter Christmas feast

Saturday 10 August from 3 pm at the club

Join us to celebrate and acknowledge your incredible commitment to our club, beach, and community.

LET'S CELEBRATE with a combined AGM, Prizegiving, and Winter Christmas feast on 10 August 2024 from 3 PM at the club.

As we look forward to the event, we invite you to consider stepping into one of our open management roles. Your extra contribution in 2024/25 can make a huge impact.

Remember, "No-one can do everything, but everyone can do something." Let's continue making a difference together!

Junior Surf

On the 7th April, Junior Surf held their Prizegiving to celebrate the end of another successful season (and one of our most successful sports seasons - we need more wall for the Ocean's medalists photos!)

Congratulations to all the prize winners, medalists throughout the season, and all the kids who showed up, participated, challenged themselves and learnt new skills! A huge thank you to Sam, Heidi, Richard and Jennai for organising the celebration and making sure everyone had a good feed!

A big thank you to all the parents who helped out over the season as age group managers, coaches, gear stewards, catering and event managers, bbq helpers, officials, board trailer drivers and loaders, fundraisers, camp parents and cheerleaders for our tamariki!

A special thank you to our sports manager Heidi, our four young Ocean’s coaches, Matthew, Ethan, Ocean and Maya, and our wonderful team of junior guards who volunteered as coach support on Sundays and midweek trainings supported by our Glenn Cotterill youth development manager Traci.

As you can see it takes a big team to keep this programme running and everyone is a volunteer - so as one season ends - the planning for the next one starts. We will be holding a planning meeting at the club on Sunday 26th May at 10:30, come along and let us know how you can contribute to this valuable kaupapa!"
