February Newsletter

What is happening soon?

We have certainly seen quite a bit of rain and wind around here and we hope everyone's homes are coping well.

Despite the miserable weather the sun has been peaking through the clouds every now and again, giving us a glimpse of the spring to come!

Find out what is coming up in Bugthorpe in this newsletter, and don't forget, you can always find out the latest news on our website too!

Bugthorpe and Kirby Underdale are celebrating The Queen's Platinum Jubilee by creating a beautiful pasture to encourage native flowers and trees that will become a haven for wildlife.

We are looking for members of the community who are interested in helping get the project off the ground, maintain it longer term or maybe you simply have some ideas and thoughts to put forward.

Let us know if you are interested in becoming involved by contacting Bob at Bugthorpe Post Office.

See below a perfect representation of what we hope the Jubilee Pasture will look like, a drawing done by a local teenager.
